Vůz Aero Minor Sport spolku Le Mans Redux není žádný muzeální veterán k focení a oprašování. Je to plně funkční závoďák, který se nebojí měřit síly s dalšími seniory motor sportu. V červenci 2022 jej čekal příslovečný návrat na místo činu – závodiště v Le Mans, kde v roce 1949 zvítězil ve své kategorii ve slavné čtyřiadvacetihodinovce. Tentokrát to bylo v soutěži historických vozidel s názvem Le Mans Classic. Abychom tuto významnou událost náležitě uctili, rozhodli jsme se vytvořit limitovanou edici hodinek MINOR, kterou jsme pojmenovali 58 podle startovního čísla, se kterým vůz před sedmdesáti třemi lety dosáhl svého historického úspěchu. Limitka se honosí několika nepřehlédnutelnými úpravami. Na první pohled zaujme změna číselníku, který je na rozdíl od standardního perforovaného lamelovaný v odkazu na chladící žebrování na přídi a na bocích kapotáže. Namísto bočního pohledu na vůz, který zdobí protiváhu vteřinové ručky běžného modelu, na limitované edici obíhá číselník charakteristicky asymetrická silueta vozu v příčném řezu. Tyto výrazné změny doplňuje číslice 58 korunce a nápis na safírovém víku.

The Aero Minor Sport car belonging to the Le Mans Redux collective is not a museum display piece. It's a fully functional racing car ready to take on other motor sport masters. In 2022 it made the proverbial return to the crime scene - the Le Mans circuit where it won its category in the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1949. This time, however, it has competed in the Le Mans Classic competition designed for vintage cars. To commemorate this historic occasion, we decided to create a limited edition ROBOT MINOR watch inscribed "58" – the very race number with which the car achieved its historic success seventy-three years ago. The limited edition boasts several unmissable modifications. The first thing that catches the eye is the dial, which, unlike the standard perforated one, is slitted in reference to the grilles on the front and sides of the bonnet. Rather than the side view of the Aero Minor Sport that adorns the counterweight of the standard model's second hand, the dial on the limited edition features a characteristically asymmetrical silhouette of the car in cross-section. These distinctive changes are complemented by the number 58 on the crown and the inscription on the sapphire case back.

Der Aero Minor Sport des Kollektivs Le Mans Redux ist kein Museumsstück. Er ist ein voll funktionsfähiger Rennwagen, der bereit ist, es mit anderen Meistern des Motorsports aufzunehmen. Im Sommer 2022 kehrte er sprichwörtlich an den Ort des Verbrechens zurück - auf die Rennstrecke von Le Mans, wo er 1949 seine Kategorie bei den berühmten 24 Stunden von Le Mans gewann. Diesmal trat er jedoch bei der Le Mans Classic an, einem Wettbewerb für Oldtimer.

Um dieses historische Ereignis zu würdigen, haben wir uns entschlossen, eine limitierte ROBOT MINOR-Uhr mit der Aufschrift 58” zu kreieren – genau die Startnummer, mit der der Wagen vor 73 Jahren seinen historischen Erfolg errang. Die limitierte Auflage weist mehrere unübersehbare Modifikationen auf. Als Erstes fällt das Zifferblatt ins Auge, das im Gegensatz zum normalen Lochzifferblatt in Anlehnung an die Gitter an der Front und den Seiten der Motorhaube geschlitzt ist.

Anstelle der Seitenansicht des Aero Minor Sport, die das Gegengewicht des Sekundenzeigers des Standardmodells ziert, zeigt das Zifferblatt der limitierten Auflage die charakteristische asymmetrische Silhouette des Autos im Querschnitt. Die Nummer 58 auf der Krone und der Schriftzug auf dem Saphirglasboden vervollständigen diese markanten Veränderungen.
