Tato speciální edice hodinek GRAPHIC SUTNAR vznikla u příležitosti 321. výročí založení karlovarského Grandhotelu Pupp. Je to ohlédnutí za úctyhodnou tradicí, ale zároveň startovní odpočet, který svědčí o tom, že Grandhotel Pupp má oči upřené dopředu. Hotel je nestárnoucí stálicí na hotelovém nebi, a to nejenom pro svou krásu, tradici a historii, během které jej navštívily největší osobnosti své doby, ale také díky neustálému rozvoji, který mu dopřávají jeho majitelé a manažeři.

Modelem GRAPHIC SUTNAR se začal v roce 2020 psát příběh naší značky. Připomíná to nejlepší z historie i současnosti českého grafického designu a vzdává poctu významnému českému grafikovi a návrháři Ladislavu Sutnarovi. Hodinkám dominuje velký reliéfní číselník usazený v subtilním pouzdru s elegantně tvarovanými nožkami. Detaily číselníku, tvar ruček i design korunky nesou typické prvky Sutnarovy tvorby vycházející z přísných geometrických kritérií a elegantní modernistické typografie. Mechanický strojek s automatickým nátahem dokonale odpovídá společenskému charakteru tohoto modelu.

Pro edici Graphic Sutnar Pupp jsme zvolili elegantní stříbrno-zlatý reliéfní číselník se zlacenými ručkami s luminiscencí. Stylizovaný kvítek, který zdobí korunku a protiváhu vteřinové ručky, jsme si vypůjčili z dekorativního ornamentu, jenž je součástí vizuální identity GH Pupp, a modrou barvu, která ji podkresluje, jsme promítli do ručně šitého řemínku z ještěří kůže. Jedinečnost každého kusu z této limitované série dvanácti hodinek dokládá gravírovaný nápis na víku.

This special edition of the Graphic Sutnar model commemorates the 321st anniversary of the founding of Carlsbad's Grandhotel Pupp. The fact that this venerable institution celebrates an anniversary that could be read as a countdown testifies to the hotel's focus on the future while taking pride in its illustrious past. Grandhotel Pupp is an ageless star on the hospitality sky thanks to not only its beauty and rich history during which it had been visited by countless dignitaries and celebrities but also the process of constant improvement driven by its owners and managers.

GRAPHIC SUTNAR is the watch that introduced our brand to the public in 2020. It pays tribute to the Czech avant-garde designer Ladislav Sutnar. The dominant feature of the watch is a large dial with raised indices, complemented by a discreet case with unobtrusive lugs. The details of the dial, the shape of the hands and the design of the crown echo typical aspects of Sutnar's work, based on the rigorous application of geometric patterns and elegant modernist typography.

The Grandhotel Pupp edition comes with a silver dial set with gold indices and gold luminescent hands. The ornament adorning the second hand has been lifted from the recently upgraded logomark of the hotel. The colour of the hand-sewn lizard skin strap matches the shade of blue central to Pupp's current visual identity. Each of the twelve watches in this limited edition is engraved on the caseback.

Diese Sonderausgabe des Modells Graphic Sutnar erinnert an den 321. Jahrestag der Gründung des Grandhotels Pupp in Karlsbad. Die Tatsache, dass diese ehrwürdige Institution ein Jubiläum feiert, das als Countdown gelesen werden könnte, zeugt davon, dass sich das Hotel auf die Zukunft konzentriert und gleichzeitig stolz auf seine illustre Vergangenheit ist. Das Grandhotel Pupp ist ein zeitloser Stern am Gastfreundschaftshimmel.

Die Grandhotel Pupp Edition verfügt über ein silbernes Zifferblatt mit goldenen Indizes und goldenen Leuchtzeigern. Das Ornament, das den Sekundenzeiger ziert, ist dem kürzlich erneuerten Logomarkenzeichen des Hotels entnommen.

Die Farbe des handgenähten Eidechsenleder-armbands entspricht dem Blauton, der derm Corporate Design des Hotels Pupp entspricht. Jede der zwölf Uhren dieser limitierten Auflage ist auf dem Gehäuseboden graviert.
